Ronald Koeman will be desperate for a reaction from his players at Manchester United on Sunday after three consecutive defeats, including a surprise 3-0 drubbing at the hands of Atalanta on Thursday night.
That’s easier said than done considering the Red Devils are yet to concede a goal at Old Trafford this season and started the weekend at the top of the Premier League table with ten points from four games.
But an injection of youthful enthusiasm and energy could perhaps be the difference for the Toffees, especially in the final third considering they’ve desperately lacked pace and dynamism up front during their last few outings.
With that in mind, we asked Everton fans earlier this week whether youngster Dominic Calvert-Lewin should start against United on Sunday. He built up an impressive rapport with Wayne Rooney during the first two games of the season, but sat out the defeats to Chelsea and Tottenham.
And according to our poll, a whopping 72% of Toffees supporters want to see the 20-year-old start at Old Trafford this weekend. Can Everton beat Jose Mourinho’s side? Let us know by commenting below…
