As we all know, Jose Mourinho has been immediately replaced by a Manchester United legend in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who will be in charge of the Red Devils until the end of the season as caretaker manager.
However, in the short time that the Premier League giants were managerless, former United midfielder Paul Ince hilariously tipped another United old boy in Steve Bruce for the job, and presumably believes he would be the right man in the long-term still.
Bruce has been unemployed since being sacked by Aston Villa just a few games into the current campaign, but that didn’t stop Ince telling Paddy Power that he thinks the former Hull boss was the right man for the job.
“Yes, he’s been sacked, but we’ve all been sacked before”, said Ince as he ended his argument for Bruce to become United manager. Whatever that means.
Obviously, fans of the Red Devils were not going to take that suggestion seriously, and consequently took to Twitter to share their opinions on the outrageous claim…
