Geyse, who joined the Red Devils from Barcelona for a record transfer fee in the summer 2023, has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford in the 2024/25 campaign. WHAT HAS BEEN SAID
Speaking to , Silva said: "As you know, her brother passed away, she is going through a very difficult time, it is a very difficult time psychologically and at Man United she is not having the best time. She needs to regain the joy of playing football and doesn’t have it for several reasons.
"The club has clearly shown that it does not count on Geyse, Man United tried to loan Geyse to a club in the USA, but the player has the right to decide about her future and the club she will play for."
He added: "It was clear that the club and the coach don’t count on her – the pressure of being in a place where you feel you are not wanted is tremendous. It is a huge psychological pressure. We are sad and want the best for Geyse."
